Wed, 19 Nov 2008 01:12:11 PST- As quickly as the road to the Rose Bowl widened for the Spartans, Iowa's victory over Penn State cluttered it again. Now that Michigan State has finally learned how to get out of its own way, it can't get any help from the rest of the conference.

The No. 18 Spartans (9-2, 6-1 Big Ten), who are off next week, will rest up for a Nov.
